Delete your account
You can delete your Prashno account and your practice data at any time. This page explains how, what gets removed, and what we are required to keep.
1. Deleting from the app
If you can still sign in, this is the fastest route and it takes effect immediately.
- Sign in and open your Profile.
- Choose Delete account and confirm.
- Your data is removed and you are signed out straight away.
2. If you cannot sign in
Email support.prashno@gmail.com from the email address on your account, or tell us the mobile number you signed in with, and ask us to delete your account. We will verify that the request comes from you and complete the deletion within 30 days.
3. What is deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes:
- your profile and your login itself;
- your practice attempts, answers, and scores;
- your mock tests and their results;
- your bookmarks and saved questions;
- your daily usage counts and the record of questions you have already seen;
- your subscription record and your analytics.
This cannot be undone. Deleting your account does not refund an active Pro pass, and the remaining period on it is lost.
4. What we keep, and why
If you have bought a Pro pass, we keep the record of that transaction — the plan, the amount, and the payment reference — because tax and accounting law requires us to retain it. It is kept for the period the law requires and is not used for anything else. We never store your card or bank details; those go directly to our payment processor.
Backups are cycled out on their own schedule, so a copy of deleted data may persist in a backup for a short period before it is overwritten.
